Our business partner, DecTron USA, continues to chart an upward trajectory, ignoring broader market uncertainty. Despite a modest seven percent price adjustment earlier this year, demand has risen across multiple sectors, affirming that customers are still seeking stability, responsiveness, performance and quality.
As other manufacturers contend with shifting international trade regulations and the unpredictable effects of multiple and varied US tariffs, DecTron remains unaffected. With design, manufacturing and supply chain operations based entirely within the United States, the company has sidestepped the turbulence that’s disrupted competitors who rely on components or labor sourced offshore. This has contributed to increased adoption of DecTron’s hardware across the fulfillment, medical and aerospace sectors, where predictable lead times and traceable sourcing are customer requirements.
DecTron has also deepened its engagement with public sector buyers. Extanto, as a DecTron partner, is actively supporting this expansion by pursuing a General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract on DecTron’s behalf. The goal is to provide streamlined access to DecTron products for federal procurement officers seeking quality, compliant, American-made equipment. This includes workspace systems, articulating arm assemblies and a new offering that underscores the company’s commitment to materials innovation.

That offering is Aegis—a ceramic coating developed by Masic Industries, a firm with whom DecTron recently formed a strategic business relationship. Aegis was developed as a domestic alternative to Ceracoat, a name well known in industrial finishes. Where similar coatings are often outsourced or subject to limited availability, Aegis is manufactured in-house by Masic, giving DecTron a competitive edge in quality control, supply security and turnaround time. Aegis offers excellent resistance to wear, heat and corrosion, making it particularly useful for hardware exposed to heavy-duty use or volatile environments. For federal buyers in sectors like aerospace or defense, where coating performance is as important as the hardware beneath it, Aegis is a particularly valuable new option.
DecTron’s expansion isn’t limited to materials or market sectors. The company has recently introduced a new laptop tray system designed for rugged industrial use (link to tray systems in Extanto e-shop). Built entirely from steel, this U.S.-made tray mounts to a wall, desk, workbench or vertical pole and integrates cleanly with DecTron’s articulating arms. The system supports smooth, precise positioning, encouraging ergonomic workspace setups without compromising structural integrity. Whether in a medical environment, warehouse buildout or mobile operations center, the tray promotes healthy posture and spatial efficiency—both of which contribute directly to operational performance and employee comfort.
With product innovation continuing and new partnerships reinforcing their supply infrastructure, DecTron USA is demonstrating what domestic manufacturing can look like when it’s built for resilience. As organizations seek out stable, scalable alternatives to outsourced supply chains, DecTron meets that demand with quality and purpose.
And for those in the federal space seeking products that meet compliance standards as they stand up to practical, real-world use, that access is about to get even easier through Extanto’s expanding GSA presence and DecTron’s evolving catalog of adaptable hardware.
